Steinberg Behavior Solutions goes into your child’s school to assess his/her needs in the setting where they are occurring. As part of your child’s comprehensive ABA treatment plan. your SBS team will support your child’s school needs as well.
When a classroom behavior plan is needed, your BCBA will conduct a functional assessment and write a behavior plan for the teachers. Your BCBA can then go into the classroom and train the teacher and other classroom staff how to implement the behavior plan.
When necessary, Steinberg Behavior Solutions will create a schedule and/or reinforcement chart for your child and will model effective implementation for the teacher. Your BCBA will also provide curriculum modification recommendations when necessary.
When the addition of a 1:1 aide is recommended, Steinberg Behavior Solutions will write specific observable and measurable goals and supervise the aide weekly to monitor your child’s progress.
We also advocate for students and their families at Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings.
