Kerry is a Chicago-based ABA therapist originally from Berwyn, IL. After graduating from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2020 with a BFA and emphasis in Art Therapy, she decided to pursue her passion serving children with special needs. She enjoys providing individualized, in-home ABA therapy sessions. As of Summer 2022, Kerry has completed her RBT certification. This is one in many steps she will take in order to research the combination of ABA and Creative Art Therapies, and in the future, pursue a Master’s degree in Art Therapy.
Prior to joining the SBS team, Kerry has worked as an assistant and volunteered in Montessori classrooms, volunteered at an artist collective in Chicago and has organized expressive art therapy sessions in educational settings during her time at university. Always, she strives to provide a practice where children feel safe, accepted, and supported in order to do their best and become their best selves.
Fun Fact: As her creative and therapeutic outlets, Kerry enjoys painting, drawing, crochet, and long distance running.
