Bridget is a life-long learner and resident of Chicagoland. Now a proud member of the SBS team, as a registered behavior technician (RBT), Bridget brings a myriad of educational and recreational experience working with children and adults with special needs. She enjoys providing individualized one on one therapy the most. A College of Communications Graduate from DePaul University, continuing with their Master’s of Education program, Bridget left a career in corporate communications and hospitality to teach. Since then she has taught every grade level in almost every subject as: an alternative high school teacher, an instructional 1 on 1 aide, a long term substitute teacher, a student teacher, a coach, a mentor, and an award winning volunteer. Her positive enthusiasm for learning is contagious!
Fun Fact: Bridget enjoyed being a popular Architectural and Historical Chicago Tour Guide on Lake Michigan and the Chicago River Boats for more than a decade. She still loves being on (or swimming in) any body of water and public speaking, as an emcee, an auctioneer, and most recently as an ordained wedding officiant.
